Goals:
It was my goal this week to continue to practice drawing more loosely using my characters. I have been too tight in my drawings up until now but I think I'm finally loosening up well so that thumbnail work does look and feel as though it's been noodled to death.Issues Covered:
I was unable to meet with Tim this week due to scheduling conflicts, but we are scheduled to meet tomorrow. At that time, I plan to discuss with him the possibility of doing one more week of focused drawing exercises/practice, then returning to the boarding process with gusto. Although I was hoping to be further along with my thumbnail boards by now, the time I've spent practicing simplified quick sketches has been invaluable. I know I still have a long way to go, but I feel I am making progress. This will only serve to help my project in the long run.I am attaching some sketches (digital and pen and ink) as well as attempts at more polished versions of the angel characters.
Goals for next week:
This coming week I will return to staging the first scene of the pilot episode. It is my goal to get as much of that first scene done as possible.Files:
