Thesis Forum - Spring 2013 with Tim Hodge - week of February 25

Goals:

I met with Tim on Friday afternoon (March 1).  At that time, I completed the full body designs of the four angel characters. I did not get the first page of script boarded as I had intended since I had to tweak the script where two of the four sequences will be coming from, which was rough and still needs work. Tim pointed out some areas where the script is not quite up to industry standards yet, and I will work with my writing collaborator to get those kinks ironed out.  Since this is all part of putting together a presentable pitch package/series bible, I feel now is the time to learn the standards and fix these issues.

In addition to the script standards, Tim and I talked about how to communicate certain camera moves in a storyboard, and that will be my starting point for the boards this week.

Boarding is priority one next week, so there should be at least two script pages done before my next meeting with Tim.

Issues Covered:

communicating camera angles and movements in a storyboard

ensuring the script conforms to formal standards to keep it from being tossed in the slush pile

Goals for next week:

Board two pages of script for the first of the four sequences

correct the formatting errors in the script.
