Thesis Forum - Spring 2013 with Tim Hodge - week of February 18

Goals for week 3:

finalize character designs for the four main characters:  Sam, Maria, Kimi, and Tony.  Time permitting, design the main characters' guardian angels

 Issues Covered:

we talked about the character designs of the four kids, as well as my progress with the four angels' designs. We talked at length about the technical side of digital art, including different stylii for using Sketchbook Pro for iPad/Android and how to achieve certain effects in Storyboard Pro.

Since I do eventually want to pitch "The Navigators", I was excited when Tim told me he could point me toward some good resources for preparing a good pitch.

Goals for next week are to finish the four angels and start on the rough thumbnails. Specifically I will be aiming to board at least one page before our next meeting.

Since I didn't get a chance to sketch out the bodies for the angels, that will be moved to week four.

In addition, I will work to storyboard the first page of the first sequence.
